One with the river

Members of our alliance attended the Festival De L'eau Vive De La Haute Gatineau this summer. It was thrilling beyond words to experience the rugged beauty and tempestuous waters of the upper Tenàgàdino Zibi with the expert guides of the Coop Aventures Matawin.

Thank you to the organizers and volunteers for this wonderful event! Many attendees signed our declaration of rights and co-founder Rita Jain’s presentation to over 200 people was a hit. It seems kayakers, canoers and other white-water lovers get the importance of this work.
